03-10-2005: The band....is no longer named Deep Wicked Rain. It WAS Deep Wicked Rain, then Parabellum. Yes, clever....Latin....it's
a dead language, you know. Anyway, yes, Parabellum. Then....then it was Nothing Special for like two minuets, and then Deep
Wicked Rain. Suffice to say, Deep Wicked Rain has split-up. The band The Objectives came together for two hours, but then
decided to drop it when prospects of Mark Wetherbee's return began to arise. Now, we're nameless, and we're jamming. The band
is (most likely) back.
12-22-2004: Hello out there, for whoever's reading this. Mark has just made a small release of his hillarious Chiristmas
album "X-Mas B.S." available. If you know him, ask him for it. Chris is doing fine as well....well, he's doing sign
language, but we won't hold that against him, or will we (buhahaha!.....just joking Chris, lol). As for me, I was asked to
drum for a new band called Malcolm Sex. I am for the time being, and also working on some new stuff, you can check it out
at:

.....see you in the Summer! Merry Christmas and New Years!
10-29-2004: Wow, it's been a while, hasn't it, folks? The band is no longer called "Deep Wicked Rain", in fact,
it has no name just yet. We had awesome songs, but due to many different pressures on the three of us, we're taking a hiatus
until the Spring/Summer.
When we join back in the Spring/Summer, expect to hear what you most likely haven't heard before.....us. Agreements have
been made towards song-arrangements, lyrics, covers, gigs, and the all important rule "no member shall play with another
band while on hiatus".
All is well, however. Currently, Mark is studying guitar and music theory as well as digging into blues, jazz, and, of
course, rock. He's also working on lot's of new material. Chris is studying bass even more, and I'm teaching myself piano
and writing some new material. Call it a "side-project".
We'll see you in the Spring/Summer!
7-5-2004: All right, so, what's new? We've got a bassist, his name is Chris Hargrave. Mark's on vacation, currently,
and when he come's back it's practice time. Yesterday, James (me) did a four-hour set with another band, Tangent. When Mark
get's back the whole band is going to form together to try and bang out a few choice songs. James (me again) has been working
on some new material.
1-14-2004: Told you we'd update more.
Mark got his hand busted up, well, his ligaments anyway. It sucke because we'll lose a week's practice, which we could
really use right now, but it's all right.
We're praying that we can play the 13th at Trinity, but we're still unsure, and as for Jon's show, we're still waiting
for news.
Everything's at a slow pace here at the Deep Wicked Rain homestead, just sitting and watching tumbleweeds pass on by.....
.....oh, and tapping fat kids with sticks.
Check back for more later!
Today...we went out and kicked old people
Tomorow, you better watch your ass.....
